cocktail sauce

I never wanted to make my own cocktail sauce, because I have a favorite brand I always buy. When I spotted this while browsing around on Mel’s Kitchen Cafe it caught my eye. Tonight was shrimp night, so I decided to give it a try. My husband and daughter’s first words where–WOW, that’s the best you’ve ever made! No need to buy it from the store now.

Cocktail Sauce:
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

For the cocktail sauce, whisk all the ingredients together until combined. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve with the shrimp.
